The Islamic extremist group ISIS, that has occupied parts of Iraq and Syria has issued a new threat against western countries including Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
In an audio recording distributed on social media, Abu Muhammad Al-Adnani of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant urges supporters to kill westerners from countries who have joined efforts in northern Iraq, whether military or civilian.
The Canadian government has not said whether it views the recording as authentic, but France appears to be treating it as such, as is SITE, a Washington think-tank that analyzes terrorist groups.
The group represents a threat not just to the Middle East, but the world, said Jason MacDonald, a spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office.
“We will continue to work with allies to push back against this threat,” MacDonald said in an email.
“Like our allies we will not be cowed by threats while innocent children, women, men and religious minorities live in fear of these terrorists.”
The Harper government has taken a hard line on IS. Last week, Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird likened the fight against the al-Qaida splinter group to the struggles against communism and fascism.
Canada is also sending 69 special forces personnel who will serve as advisers to Iraqi forces battling IS militants.
Responding to al-Adnani’s statement, France’s Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said he is confident in the country’s security.
“France is not afraid because it is prepared to respond to their threats,” he said.
The IS statement was released in Arabic by the group’s media arm, Al-Furqan, and appeared on militant sites used by the group. The Associated Press reported the speaker sounded like that of previous recordings attributed to al-Adnani.
The 42-minute audio statement was released online late Sunday. In it, al-Adnani said the coalition would not be able to defeat the jihadis. He called on Muslims everywhere to kill anyone whose country takes part in the attack.
“Oh, believer, do not let this battle pass you by wherever you may be. You must strike the soldiers, patrons and troops of the tyrants. Strike their police, security and intelligence members,” al-Adnani said.
“If you can kill a disbelieving American or European — especially the spiteful and filthy French — or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that joined a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be.”
A transcript, distributed on social media late Sunday night, also seemed to accuse countries like Canada and Australia of meddling in affairs that are none of their business.
“What threat do you pose to the distant place of Australia for it to send its legions towards you? What does Canada have anything to do with you?”
A Public Safety Canada report last month said some 130 individuals were suspected of terror-related activities abroad at the beginning of 2014, including about 30 people with Canadian connections suspected of terror activities in Syria.
The Canadian government has said it has begun revoking the passports of those it suspects of wanting to go abroad to join terrorist groups.
IS’s reach on social media also makes them a potential threat on Canadian soil, suggested Michel Juneau-Katsuya, a former Canadian intelligence officer who now heads up an Ottawa cybersecurity company.
“They have been capable (of recruiting) young people without speaking directly to them face to face,” he noted.
“If they’ve been capable through the media — through the Internet — to reach them, I wouldn’t be surprised that they convince some of these people that instead of travelling to the Middle East, to stay here and simply attack us here.”

ps this is important information and needs to be shared! These ISIS types are here in our midst on Canadian soil, not just over in Iraq and Syria. We need to call our elected officials and demand something be done to protect our children from being beheaded here! Don’t think for a minute that this won’t happen, it happened last year in England in broad daylight to Lee Rigby! This isn’t just a regional or terrorist problem, this is a religious problem! Please drop the political correctness with Islam, it is what it is! The attacks are inevitable, they will happen. However, our police and intelligence could do much more to minimize the damage that is likely to occur .
Lee Rigby’s killer doing an interview and quoting passages from the “holy” Koran. Yes, that is Lee Rigby’s blood!

Canadian Catechists Reading List Begins…
September 20, 2014
What’s on Lee’s Shelf ???
I have to be honest, I am not sure exactly how to organize this section of the site. So, after discussing this section of the site tonight with a friend, I figured I would just start. Well, here goes! To begin, I will just share what is on my nightstand. These are the books that are must haves for this Marian Catechist and lover of the One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church and all She has to offer! Now, I have to warn you, I actually have a relatively small nightstand, but I have acquired quite a few ” must have within hand reach” books. Sometimes I think my wife thinks I’m nuts! I always tell her that their are much worse things I could be doing, and she shakes her head and tends to agree. I will link to these books to online Catholic Bookstores that I am familiar with mostly. However please also shop at your local Catholic Bookstores. We have an excellent one here in Niagara Region in Ontario Canada called Branches Catholic Bookstore and we are now also in relationship with Catholic Chapter House. These are two excellent resources, with a store front and online store!
I guess you could say I have a wide variety of topics looking at my side table. And Yes, that is a kindle on top of the official Catechism of the Catholic Church which has a tremendous library with all of St Augustines works and all of St John Chrystosoms works also! Those two awesome Saints and Doctors of the Church alone could fill an entire wall with their masterpieces! No, I have not read all their work, it would take a few lifetimes probably. I always have close at hand The Catechism of the Council of Trent, my personal Favourite. The Catechism of the Council of Trent – compiled under the direction of St. Charles Borromeo and recognized as the most authoritative Catholic catechism. Leo XIII recommended two books– the Summa and this Catechism–for all seminarians! Pope Benedict 16th, as a Cardinal, called it the most important Catholic Catechism. Originally designed to supply parish priest with an official book of instruction, it has been used extensively by the laity as a steadying guide in our confused age. New typesetting and beautiful hardbound cover.
S0, also on my table I have the Three Ages of the Interior Life Volume 1, by Father Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, O.P., was born in 1877 and is held as one of the greatest Catholic theologians of the twentieth century. He focused his writings against the error of Modernism, which denied the objective truth of Divine revelation, as well as on apologetics, including philosophy. In total, he authored over five hundred books and articles, and wrote as a thorough Thomist. Among Father Garrigou-Lagrange’s numerous works are The Three Ages of the Interior Life, Christian Perfection and Contemplation, Christ the Savior, and God, His Existence and Nature. He died in 1964. This author I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.This particular book is a masterpiece in displaying how Catholic doctrine and spirituality are perfectly complimentary to one another, and have no need to be separated one from the other!
I also have a Douay Rheims translation of Holy Scripture. This is my favourite English translation, because it is true to the Latin Vulgate and not so corrupted like other Catholic translations. Just because a Bible has the name Catholic on it, does not mean it is a good , faithful translation. The best test I have found is to go to Luke , Chapter 1 verse 28, it should read “ And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women” If the ” Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee” is not in your Bible you are best to get rid of that translation asap! Those exact words need to be in your translation of the Bible, if they aren’t, please get a new Bible and don’t give that one away either. We don’t need to be spreading error. You can burn it if you like, bury it or hide it real good!
On the Catechetical front, well right next to me actually I have the COMMENTARY ON THE GENERAL DIRECTORY FOR CATECHESIS Most Rev. Raymond Leo Burke From the Forward:In accord with the directives of the Apostolic See, MarianCatechists employ a twofold vademecum in their apostolate:the Catechism of the Catholic Church for doctrine and the General Directory for Catechesis for catechetical method.
Also, The Advanced Catholic Catechism Course Manual and Workbook and the BASIC CATHOLIC CATECHISM COURSE and by Father John Anthony Hardon S.J. Revised and Updated by Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke If you have been waiting to study the Faith, this is the perfect time to start.
Next, THE QUESTION AND ANSWER CATHOLIC CATECHISM Father John A. Hardon S.J. A perfect way for modern Catholics to address the issues of faith, this straightforward catechism provides precise answers to more than 1,700 questions about Church teachings, rituals, and religious practice. This Catechism presents the essentials of the Catholic Faith in a manner that is easy to use and spiritually sound.
The next Catechism was compiled and written by Servant of God Father John Hardon S.J and is simply called The Catholic Catechism “This volume is intended to meet a widely felt need for an up-to-date and concise source book on the principal teachings of the Catholic Church. Since the close of the Second Vatican Council, there has been such an accumulation of ecclesiastical constitutions and decrees and so many changes they introduced in Catholic practice that few people have been able to keep up with all that has happened… A parallel purpose of this volume is to offer those who use it a handy guidebook of the Catholic tradition, whether formally documented in ecclesiastical sources or implicitly accepted by the faithful under the aegis of the Church’s hierarchial leaders.”The method followed in presenting the Church’s doctrine is a combination of history and logic. Doctrines are placed into a historical framework by tracing their origins to the Old and New Testaments and placing their development within the context of persons, places, and times. The doctrine thus becomes more intelligible because it is viewed in the setting of its vital growth over the centuries.
“The intended reading audience of this Catholic catechism are all those priests, religious and laity, and above all parents and teachers, who are looking for a concise statement of the faith they profess, the conduct they practice, and the worship they give to the Lord.”
–From The Catholic Catechism by John A. Hardon, S.J.
Right now, Sept 19/14 I am in the middle of reading two books. To be honest, I am always reading and re-reading Catechetical and Doctrinal material, but I wanted to read something a little lighter and spiritual. So, I am reading The Fire Within, by Thomas Dubay .This book is the fruit of Fr. Dubay’s many years of study and experience in spiritual direction and in it he synthesizes the teachings on prayer of the two great doctors of the Church on prayer–St. John of the Cross and St. Teresa of Avila–and the teaching of Sacred Scripture.
But the teaching that Fr. Dubay synthesized is not collected from Teresa and John for contemplatives alone. It is meant for every Christian and is based on the Gospel imperative of personal prayer and the call to holiness. All the major elements of these great teachers are ordered, commented on and put in the context of their scriptural foundations. Here is an outstanding book on prayer and the spiritual life written by one of the best spiritual directors and retreat masters of our time, and based on the writings of the Church’s two greatest mystical doctors.
The second book is by a great Saint that I have an interest in. He is especially relevant in our time because of the huge disconnect between Church and state in the western world as of late. The book is written by St Thomas More and is called A Dialogue of Comfort against Tribulation . Here in modern English is More’s examination of the comfort of God in times of difficulty. Written in the Tower of London while More was awaiting execution for refusing to betray his faith, this book is a fictional dialogue between a young man, Vincent, and his mortally ill uncle. Vincent is afraid that an impending Muslim invasion will force him to betray his faith or die a martyr. More shows how all suffering can be beneficial if you respond to it properly.
On the philosophical side, I have History of Philosophy Volume II Augustine to Scotus by Frederick Copleston S.J Surveys schools of Western thought from the Patristic period and St. Augustine through the Carolingian renaissance, St. Bonaventure and St. Thomas Aquinas to Duns Scotus. I have also read and studied History of Philosophy Volume I Greece and Rome . Progress of philosophical thinking among the Greeks, leading to a dual climax in the work of Plato and Aristotle, demanding a synthesis by the Neo-Platonists. Both of these books I highly recommend to those who are interested in Philosophy. Especially those who are interested in St Thomas and his writings. These were an excellent primer to a better understanding of St Thomas, his theology and his writings on all matters. I am just a beginner, but I have to say, I learned a lot from these two volumes on the study of wisdom and the history of philosophy and the development of it. I wasn’t familiar with some of the words and phrases of the philosophical language. So, I just looked them up on wiki or google and would write out short definitions in these two volumes and refer back to them. Before I knew it these words were second nature and part of my vocabulary! Words like dialectic, epistemology, rhetoric, exemplarism, aliquid… look them up 🙂 one is in latin! See you soon. I have many more books to add to the list, and on my side table, but I’m getting tired. You should see the basement and bookshelves and desk, oh my!!! 🙂
May Almighty God Bless us and keep us safe from the World, the devil and ourselves

About a month ago, I wrote to you about the terrified Christians of Iraq — trapped between the armed extremists of ISIS and Iraqi government forces. Many people responded with extreme generosity. If you were among them, I thank you very much for your donation.
But I’ve received alarming new reports from our regional staff. The nightmare was only just beginning. As ISIS escalates its rampage of hate, thousands of families have now been forced to run for their lives. You can help them by clicking here.
and more than 100,000 Christians are fleeing in terror.
Local sisters, priests and religious workers are scrambling to provide shelter. Local villagers are struggling to provide food and water. But it just isn’t enough.
And ISIS wants to expel or destroy them all.

AN URGENT LETTER OF THE CHALDEAN PATRIARCH
Christ’s Death and Burial
July 29, 2014
” suffered under Pontius Pilate was crucified died and was buried “
The Fourth Article of the Apostle’s Creed continued……
We have covered much catechesis in a short time, but we have far to go. I know that I have delved into a more intermediate and advanced catechesis at times, but I am trying to keep things as basic as possible. For those who would like to get deeper into the Church’s De Fidei teachings, I would highly recommend a book by Dr. Ludwig Ott called Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma and I would also point you to our bookstore at the Marian Catechist Apostolate for other excellent catechetical and faithful Catholic reading material. It is an excellent source for all of The Church’s teachings on the Faith. One of these days I promise to get working on the Reading List also. On with the catechesis……
In death, our body and soul are separated from one another, it is actually that simple. When Jesus died, this is precisely what happened to Him, His soul was separated from His body. However, His Divinity remained united with both His body in the tomb and His soul that was separated from His body. I say again, Jesus’ Divinity remained united with both His soul and His body even though His body and soul were separated at His death. This leads us to the fact that Jesus’ body did not begin the decomposition process that all other humans go through at death due to original sin (except for The Blessed Mother of course who suffered no corruption at death due to Her Immaculate Conception). Jesus’ human body did not corrupt eventhough He had truly died, as seen in Acts 13 of Sacred Scripture ” But he whom God hath raised from the dead, saw no corruption.” We also read this in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, “627 Christ’s death was a real death in that it put an end to his earthly human existence. But because of the union which the person of the Son retained with his body, his was not a mortal corpse like others, for “it was not possible for death to hold him”470 and therefore “divine power preserved Christ’s body from corruption.”471 Both of these statements can be said of Christ: “He was cut off out of the land of the living”,472 and “My flesh will dwell in hope. For you will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor let your Holy One see corruption.”473 Jesus’ Resurrection “on the third day” was the sign of this, also because bodily decay was held to begin on the fourth day after death.474 “
So now that we are learning about the beautiful Catholic Faith, how can we put what we learn into action. With The Fourth Article of the Apostle’s Creed we commemorate the Passion and Death of Christ by participating in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass regularly, not just on Sundays, also by observing Fridays as obligatory days of penance ( like not eating meat or no internet or tv). Also by praying the Rosary and especially praying and meditating on the sorrowful mysteries is an excellent way of actually practicing this article of the Apostle’s Creed. Also, making the Way of the Cross is another wonderful way of putting into action what we learn in the The Fourth Article of the Apostle’s Creed.
May Almighty God protect us from the World, the devil, and ourselves. In JM+JT , Lee

Christ’s Capacity for Suffering
July 21, 2014
Fourth Article continued…..
It is a Dogma of the Church, ” De Fidei definita ” that Christ’s human nature was passible. Jesus chose to adopt passible flesh in order to make atonement for our sins, also to demonstrate the fact that He did have a human nature, and also to be a model of patience for mankind. The word passible isn’t a word that might be familiar to all. A quick definition of passible is “capable of feeling or suffering; susceptible to sensation or emotion.” Once again, Jesus chose and willed to suffer and die for us to make satisfaction for the sins of mankind. The reason I bring up the topic of Christ’s Capacity for Suffering is because it is important for us to realize what our Lord and Saviour did for us. His Passion, from the last supper to the Cross was all for us. Jesus was mocked, spat on, beaten, tortured over and over again and He could have stopped it at any moment, but He did not. He willingly, lovingly accepted all of the suffering to atone for ALL of OUR SINS ! How quickly do I flee from suffering, the smallest amount. I should remember what our Lord endured always, and ask Him to accept any suffering I have and use it to help convert the world to Our Lord! Do not waste your suffering my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, offer it to the Lord and His Immaculate Mother for the conversion of the world to the Catholic Church! Jesus didn’t have the distractions of mind that you and I have, if anything Jesus felt perfectly every single blow by the Roman guards and Jewish Temple police. He felt every thorn and every sensation of the pain that coursed through His precious body. When His precious body was scourged at the pillar, He experienced every lash of satans whip much more than you or I could because of His innocence. The wood of the Cross that He willingly chose to carry to the spot of crucifixion, would He have not experienced the weight of that cross like no other, of course. Jesus truly experienced every single moment of His Passion in the true present like no other, He experienced every feeling of pain, loss and suffering. He fully experienced the human emotions of being falsely accused, abandoned by His best friends, how it is to be jailed and tortured. He was made fun of, and mocked in the cruelest possible way. He did all of this for us. How do we pay Him back? We can’t!
But we can say thank you, we can pray, we can try and love even those whom we may not like. We can go to Church regularly and visit the most Blessed Sacrament, we can use the Sacraments that He left for us, we can give alms to the needy. We can tithe to the Church, something many Catholics resist. So many blessings come from tithing, truly, don’t be afraid to tithe, the blessings will be tenfold! We can truly honour our earthly father and mother and follow the commandments and the precepts of the Church and realize that they are for us, for our happiness. We can evangelize our friends, family and co-workers. These are just a couple of ways we can say thank you to Our Dear Lord! Thank you Jesus, thank you for all you have done and all you do for us all!!! In JM+JT Lee

This will be the last post on The First Article of The Apostles Creed. Like I stated before, here we are only touching on the basic teachings of our beautiful Catholic Faith ; in the future we will look at more intermediate and advanced questions and teachings that will help enrich our study of The Catholic Faith. Our understanding, and especially our childrens and grandchildrens understanding of The Catholic Faith must grow in keeping with their secular education. If their education in The Faith does not grow alongside their secular education, their is a great danger that they will end up abandoning their faith. We have seen the result of this in all the pew studies. In all truth, even as is stated in General Catechetical Directory by Pope Paul VI, teaching the faith should start at physical birth. Daily prayer, going to Mass regularly, sacramentals in the home like Holy Water and Blessed statues and Crucifixes should be common place in a faithful Catholics home. This helps in creating the domestic Church for Husband, Wife and Children and in instruction, and also in witnessing to others about our beautiful Catholic Faith. Now, getting to Original Sin…
Ultimately Original Sin is the absence of supernatural life that our first parents lost when they sinned. The results of original sin are that we do not have a share in the divine life of the soul which is necessary to enter heaven. Also, we lost the immortality of the body. We must all die. We also lost our immunity from disease and sickness. Last but not least, we have that inner struggle with concupiscience. In other words, we are much more inclined to sin, even when we do not want to. We have a weakened will and our intellect has been darkened. Strange thing with sin is, the more we sin, the weaker our will becomes and the darker our intellect becomes. It is a very hard circle to exit once it becomes a lifestyle choice. It takes a great grace, and lots of prayers from loved ones to help break that cycle, but with God, anything is possible. The power of prayer is not to be under estimated, as St Alphonsus said, ” its the short prayers that penetrate the heavens.”
The sin of our first parents was a sin of disobedience. Rom 5:19 “By the disobedience of one man, many were made sinners.” The root of the disobedience was pride. Sound familiar? “non serviam” the words of Lucifer himself. Do I say this throughout the day? Unfortunately I do, not always consciously, but I do catch myself in the selfish, I will not serve mode. This is one of the results of Original Sin in many cases, no doubt. Thank God for those short prayers, the Sacraments, and Holy mass which all help to make it much easier to say, ” Thy will , not mine be done, ” instead of ” I will not serve.” The Council of Trent teaches that Adam lost sanctity and justice by transgressing the Divine Commandment (D 788). Since the punishment is proportionate to the guilt, the sin of Adam was clearly a serious sin. So, maybe you ask why do I inherit Adams sin? And why was his disobedience dealt with so harshly? To answer the first question, Adam was the human race in a sense. Adam was the representative of the whole human race. On his decision, which was made freely, depended the preservation or the loss of the supernatural endowment, which was a gift, not to him personally, but to the human nature. Remember what God said in Gen 2:16,17 ” And he commanded him, saying: Of every tree of paradise thou shalt eat: But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat. For in what day soever thou shalt eat of it, thou shalt die the death.” So, indeed Original Sin is transmitted by natural generation, from Adam all the way down to our parents, and handed on to us. We are all born with it, except of course in the case of Jesus and Mary. Jesus and Mary were both conceived without the stain of original sin. The Council of Trent says In the Baptism of children that is expurgated which they have incurred through generation (D 790, 791). Baptism renews friendship with God and any guilt of original or actual sin of the one being baptized and restores us to supernatural life. The other Sacraments help us to stay friends with God and keep us pleasing to Him through the ups and downs of this journey we call life. And if by chance we fall from grace and do sin, He has been kind enough to give us the awesome gift of Confession. A most amazing Sacrament, and I try and go at least twice a month. So many graces have been transmitted to me through this most awesome Sacrament.
Now to deal with the severity of Adams sin. I will try and state this plainly. When you assault a regular citizen you may get probation for a first offence depending on how bad the assault was. When you assault a police officer, it is most certain you will go to jail and be judged more harshly. Could you imagine the person who would assault a Supreme Court Justice or the Prime Minister, that person would definitely be punished much more harshly considering the offense and whom the offense was directed at. It would have long lasting effects on that persons life and possibly even affect others. Now, imagine the offense against Almighty God, Creator of All things seen and unseen, who is Eternal. When you offend our Eternal God, it will have eternal consequences. Especially considering the simple command that was given to Adam and Eve. Hence the reason for the results of their sin.
So, the Good News, God immediately promised a Saviour in Gen 3:15 I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.
She shall crush: Ipsa, the woman; so divers of the fathers read this place, conformably to the Latin: others read it ipsum, viz., the seed. The sense is the same: for it is by her seed, Jesus Christ, that the woman crushes the serpent’s head.
God always has a plan, and uses the fall to send His own Son Jesus Christ to redeem us and give us the chance to have a share in Gods own Divine Life. What an Awesome God we have! Next time we will begin to look at The Second Article of The Apostles’ Creed…And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord

The Nature and Origin of Man
April 5, 2014
Nature and Origin of Man
So one question that definitely seems to escape the thoughts of most it seems today, finds its answer here in The Catholic Church. My hope is that we all ask this question and come to the only true answer. The question is, why are we here, or better yet, why did God create us? The answer is simple and should be memorized and taught especially to our youngsters, they NEED to know this. God created man to know, love, and serve his Creator and Lord in this life and in this way attain heaven and eternal happiness in the life to come. Once again, please teach and re-teach your children and grandchildren this important truth, it is a simple but effective moral compass in this turbulent place we call earth. Now, more than at any other time in history, we need direction and True purpose. This is our purpose for being, we have mission.
Once again , we are Gods creatures, composed of spirit and body, and by spirit we refer to our immaterial soul. By our bodies we refer to our material nature. Man is a rational animal, therefore, man has the use of reason, unlike mere animals. Our soul is immortal and will never die. The soul is a very special gift from God. It is created “ex nihlo,” out of nothing and infused into our body at the exact moment of our conception. Our parents help in the creation of our body, but God alone creates the soul and unites it with our body. We also refer to this moment as immediate animation. At that very moment, we are a human person and need to be protected as such!
We will touch also on some of the specific gifts that Adam and Eve possessed before the fall. Adam and Eve possessed supernatural gifts and also what we call preternatural gifts. So, to start with, Adam and Eve had sanctifying grace. This can be described as friendship with God, coupled with faith, hope and charity and the right to enter heaven. No creature has a right to these gifts, hence the name supernatural, since they only belong to God alone.
Now we get to the preternatural gifts, I remember them by referring to the three I’s , bodily immortality, integrity, and infused knowledge. It helps in remembering, and teaching little memorization tricks to keep the Truths of the Faith always ready and accessible. So these preternatural gifts are not natural to man, they were gifts given to our first parents which they lost through their fall. Sanctifying grace, the most important gift that was lost is restored with Baptism, but the preternatural gifts are not restored. Immortality simply means our First Parents were never intended to die, and this gift was intended to be passed on through generations. Integrity means that our First Parents were free of concupiscence. In other words, they were not inclined to sin. They didn’t have that tension between the flesh and spirit, their body and soul were in harmony with one another. They were well aware of Gods will. Infused knowledge, refers to the fact that they didn’t have to struggle to learn or overcome ignorance. Adam and Eve certainly would have known that serpents do not speak, and that something was out of order when the “nahash” entered the Garden.
Adam and Eve are truly historical figures, our First Parents. All human beings on this earth descend from Adam and Eve, a single set of parents, this is called monogenism. Polygenism was rejected by Pope Pius XII, who warned, ” the faithful cannot embrace that opinion that maintains that either after Adam there existed on this earth true men who did not take their origin through natural generation through him as the first parent of all or that Adam represents a certain number of first parents.” ( Humani Generis 37).
In the next post we will look at Original Sin and its effects. May GOD bless us all, and keep us safe from ourselves, the devil and the world. In JMJ, Lee
PS : as always, comments, questions and discussion is encouraged 🙂
